Part of the Parish of Shalfleet, bounded in the east by the parishes of Carisbrooke and St Nicholas, on the west by the parish of Calbourne, on the north by the parish of Northwood and on the south by the high Road at Ashen Grove. Comprising Watchingwell Farm and Cottages, Dinglers, lower Watchingwell Farm and Cottages, Durrants, Colemans Farm and Cottages, Little Locks, The whole of the houses in Clay Lane, the whole of Portsfield and Bunce Hill. (Portsfield is actually  Porchfield).
